Service Coordinator - Readvertised
1 FTE: 37.5 Hours per week
Covering the Whitianga/Coromandel Areas
As a Service Coordinator you will have a passion for supporting our elderly and disabled clients remain in their own homes and part of their communities by ensuring competent, friendly, responsive and culturally safe care is provided with efficient and effective coordination of client services.
Responsible for a team of Support Workers, you will provide strong leadership, encourage workforce training and development and provide day to day coordination of Support Workers within the assigned area to ensure mindful rostering that reflects best practice service delivery.
Key attributes required for this role;
- Experience in Home and Community Support Services an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided
- Passion to deliver a high quality client focused service
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Ability to multi-task with strong time management skills
- Computer literate
- A great sense of humour
- A clean full driver’s licence
