Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki is a holistic kaupapa Māori Health organisation, providing a range of services to the Hauraki rōhe. We are proud of our 25 year history providing services in our community.
Our services are growing to match community need and therefore we have a new opportunity for:
1 FTE: 40 Hours per week
Covering the Paeroa area
As a Service Coordinator you will have a passion for supporting our elderly and disabled clients remain in their own homes. You will ensure competent, friendly, responsive and culturally safe care is provided, with efficient and effective coordination of client services.
Responsible for a team of Support Workers, you will provide strong leadership, encourage workforce training and development and provide day to day coordination of your Support Workers within your assigned area. You will provide mindful coordination that reflects best practice service delivery. Our Service Coordinators also cover a weekend and after hour’s service, for urgent enquiries, requiring you to be available for dedicated evenings and weekends.
Key attributes required for this role include:
- Knowledge and understanding of working in Home and Community Support Services
- Passion to deliver a high quality, client focused service
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Ability to multi-task with strong time management skills
- Computer literate
- A great sense of humour
- A clean full driver’s licence
