Registered Nurse – Whānau Health Service, Paeroa and Thames

Fulltime or part-time roles

Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki is a kaupapa Māori organisation, delivering health and social services to whānau in the Hauraki rohe. Registered Nurses who work as part of the Whānau Health Service provide primary health care services across the life span from multiple clinic and community sites including in the client/ whānau home.

Working either fulltime or part-time in our Thames or Paeroa clinic, you will be responsible for providing primary care nursing interventions and treatment to clients and their whānau, supporting their acute and chronic health needs. The Whānau Health service operates primarily from 8am to 5pm Mon – Friday with some acute nursing services provided after hours.

To be successful in this role you will need:

- Current APC and experience in primary health care / general practice.

- Experience on Medtech Evolution is desirable.

- Cervical Smear and Immunisation certificates are preferable.

- Current full drivers licence.

Salary steps are as per the current, Primary Health Care Multi-Employer Collective Agreement (MECA). Please note, Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki is not a party to the agreement and reserves the right to establish criteria for progression through the steps based on organisation priorities.
